‘Rakshya’ the second presentation of Pawan Basnet. The movie created controversy because of bed scenes offered by Poojana and the poster design of the movie. The actress and the director had misunderstanding prior to the release of the movie. Later, Poojana had told that she is free to offer whatever role she prefers and she also told that she can go as far as removing all the clothes in movies.

Poojana Pradhan actually is Gurung by birth, not Pradhan. Poojana’s mother Uma Pradhan and father Khadga Bahadur Gurung decided to divorce when Poojana was a little kid. When her dad married another woman she started living with the single mom. Being with the Pradhan mom, it never came to her that she has to write Gurung as her last name.
